This roasted Dandelion & Chicory Root blend is totally caffeine free and makes a great and healthy substitute for coffee. It has a rich, well-rounded, toasty and slightly bitter taste, similar to the taste of coffee. It is rich in vitamins A, B complex, C and D and iron, potassium and zinc.
Brew it in a tea infuser or a coffee plunger, using a heaped teaspoon per cup, add boiling hot water and let steep for a few minutes. Add honly and/or steamed milk as preferred. Can also be used in place of the coffee grinds in your coffee machine, simply fill the handle with dandy/chicory blend, tamper, insert into machine and allow water to pass through in the same way you’d make your espresso shot. Then top with steamed milk and enjoy!
