Wattleseed has been used by Australia's First Nations People for over 40,000 years. It has a rich coffee, chocolate, chicory, nutty flavour and is roasted and then ground into a flour.
Wattleseed is high in protein with a low glycemic index, is gluten free and is high in fatty acid composition. It also has a high concentration of potassium, calcium, iron and zinc. Making it somewhat of a native superfood!
Add it into cooking and baking to add a lovely flavour not to mention all the health benefits. We also love adding some into smoothies.
