This dried Wakame is produced from wild grown and hand harvested Undaria found in the pristine waters of Tasmania’s South East Coast. The Kai Ho Wakame product consists of the upper leaves of the Undaria plant. It has been processed using their Unique Processing System and then naturally dried. 

Seaweed provides all 56 minerals and elements you need to survive. No other plant contains all 56. Seaweed also has a surplus of iodine, a hard-to-find element necessary for healthy brain and thyroid function. 

All seaweeds are rich sources of protein, calcium, iodine, magnesium, iron and folate. The kelp varieties also contain high levels of lignans, which are a type of antioxidant. Cooking rice & other grains with some wakame thrown in supercharges your meal or soak wakame until soft and add to your favourite salad.
